ভবেন্দ্ৰ নাথ শইকীয়া শিশু কল্যাণ ন্যাস- “আৰোহণ” হৈছে যোৱা শতিকাৰ এজন শ্ৰেষ্ঠ অসমীয়া কলা-কৃষ্টিৰ সাধক ড° ভবেন্দ্ৰ নাথ শইকীয়াৰ মানসপুত্ৰ। তেখেতে গভীৰ ভাবে বিশ্বাস কৰিছিল যে— “প্ৰতিগৰাকী শিশুৰ সুশিক্ষাৰ অধিকাৰ আছে। তেওঁলোকক সেই সুবিধা দিয়াটো আমাৰ কৰ্তব্য।” সমগ্ৰ জীৱনত তেওঁ জমা কৰি ৰখা সাঁচতীয়া ধন আৰু শক্তি খৰচ কৰি মৃত্যুৰ কিছুদিনৰ আগতে জন্ম দিছিল “আৰোহণ”-ৰ। ৰ্বতমান সময়ত শিশুৰ সামগ্ৰিক বিকাশৰ বাবে উৎসৰ্গিত বেচৰকাৰী সংস্থা আৰোহণে অসমীয়া শিল্প, সংস্কৃতি আৰু সাহিত্যলৈ দুটা দশকৰো অধিক সময় ধৰি অতুলনীয় অৱদান দি আহিছে। ড° শইকীয়াৰ দৃষ্টিভংগী আৰু আদৰ্শৰ প্ৰতি আৰোহণ এক জীৱন্ত শ্ৰদ্ধাঞ্জলি। ২০০৫ চনৰ ২০ ফেব্ৰুৱাৰীত প্ৰতিষ্ঠা হোৱা আৰোহণে শিক্ষা, শিল্প আৰু সাংস্কৃতিক অনুশীলনৰ মাধ্যমেৰে অসমীয়া ভাষা, ঐতিহ্য আৰু সংস্কৃতিলৈ নিৰৱিচ্ছিন্ন সেৱা আগবঢ়াই আহিছে ।
ড° শইকীয়াৰ মৃত্যুৰ পাছৰ পৰা দুটা দশকৰো অধিক সময় ধৰি তেখেতৰ জীৱন সংগী তথা আৰোহণৰ মুখ্য ন্যাসৰক্ষী প্ৰীতি শইকীয়াই এই ন্যাসক অতি বিচক্ষণতাৰে নেতৃত্ব দি আহিছে। আৰোহণে নিশ্চিত কৰিছে যে প্ৰতিটো পদক্ষেপ প্ৰতিষ্ঠাপক ড০ শইকীয়াৰ আদৰ্শৰ প্ৰতি সন্মান ৰাখি সততাৰে পৰিচালিত হওক —আগন্তুক প্ৰজন্মৰ মইনাহঁতে গভীৰ মমতা, সৃষ্টিশীলতা আৰু মূল্যবোধৰ জ্ঞানেৰে আলোকিত হৈ নিজ জীৱনৰ ভেটি প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰক।

A non-governmental organization dedicated to the holistic development of children, Aarohan stands as a living tribute to the vision of the legendary writer Dr. Bhabendra Nath Saikia, whose unparalleled contributions to Assamese art, culture, and literature continue to illuminate generations. Founded on 20 February 2005, Aarohan carries forward Dr. Saikia’s humanistic ideals through education, art, and cultural nurturing. Guided by a small yet deeply committed team, the Trust functions with care and collective wisdom, where every major decision is shaped through thoughtful consultation.
In the years following Dr. Saikia’s passing, Aarohan has been steadfastly led by Preeti Saikia, his life partner and Managing Trustee for over two decades. With quiet strength and unwavering dedication, she has ensured that Aarohan remains true to its founding spirit—nurturing young minds with compassion, creativity, and a deep sense of values.
